Flexifabrics did not build its pattern library from online dimensions or product photographs. We purchased the actual fender models. Each one was shipped to our professional pattern designer in California, physically measured, and translated into a custom production dieline.

That process required tens of thousands of dollars in pattern design alone—before accounting for the cost of buying hundreds of fenders and shipping large, bulky marine products across the country. The result is a proprietary library covering the brands, model families, sizes, and shapes boat owners actually use.

Low-quantity custom products often become expensive because setup costs are spread across very few pieces. Others reduce cost by standardizing the product—one universal pattern, limited print options, or thin material.

Flexifabrics combines its existing model-specific dielines with established production relationships. That lets us offer one-off custom FenderSox™ covers at accessible pricing without turning them into generic sleeves. The customer still receives the pattern selected for the exact fender and a custom design mockup before production.

What Customers Should Ask Before Ordering

A company calling a cover “custom” may be referring only to the printed artwork. Before ordering, ask whether the physical cover itself is patterned for your exact fender.
