Premium Neoprene Boat Fender Covers

Not all fender cover materials are equal. FenderSox™ uses 5mm closed-cell neoprene — the same grade used in premium wetsuits — for a reason. Here's why it's the right choice for marine environments.

Why 5mm Neoprene Outperforms Every Alternative

UV Resistance

Canvas and nylon fender covers fade and degrade rapidly under Florida sun. Neoprene's closed-cell structure resists UV breakdown at the molecular level — meaning printed artwork stays vibrant and the material remains supple after years of sun exposure.

At 5mm thickness, there's also enough mass to buffer repeated dock contact without compressing to the point of failure.

Saltwater Performance

Canvas and fabric fender covers absorb seawater and salt — and when they do, they breed mildew, stiffen in cold weather, and stain the hull they're supposed to protect.

Neoprene is inherently hydrophobic. It doesn't absorb water. It dries quickly, resists mildew, and doesn't transfer salt stains to your hull or dock lines.

Impact Absorption

Vinyl covers protect against scratches but offer zero additional cushioning — you're relying entirely on the fender itself. 5mm neoprene adds a meaningful extra layer of impact absorption between the dock and your hull, particularly important during strong tidal swings or in heavy chop.

Easy Maintenance

FenderSox™ are machine washable. Cold water, gentle cycle. They emerge looking new. No hand washing, no special marine cleaners, no hanging to dry for 48 hours. Just your regular laundry routine.

Custom Printing on Neoprene: How It Works

FenderSox™ uses dye-sublimation printing — a process that infuses color directly into the neoprene fibers rather than laying ink on top of the surface. The result is artwork that can't peel, crack, or fade like screen-printed alternatives.

Full-Color Precision

Logos, gradients, photography-quality artwork, multi-color boat names — all reproduced at exact Pantone accuracy.

Color-Fast in UV

Sublimation dyes are UV-stable. Years of sun exposure won't cause fading, yellowing, or color shift.

Washable Without Loss

Machine washing does not affect sublimated colors. The dye is inside the fiber, not on it.
