Custom Fender Covers for Any Brand: Polyform, Taylor Made, Mission Sentry & More

Think you can't get a precision-fit neoprene cover for your fender brand? Think again. Flexifabrics engineers custom covers for virtually every fender on the market — including brands most cover companies have never heard of.

The Problem With "Brand-Specific" Fender Cover Companies

Walk into most marine stores or browse the common fender cover brands online and you'll find the same narrow selection: covers for Polyform F-Series, maybe a few Taylor Made sizes, and that's about it. If you own anything outside those models, the conversation usually ends with "sorry, we don't carry that."

The result? Boat owners settle for universal covers — oversized neoprene sleeves that loosely drape over the fender body, trap moisture underneath, and rotate out of position the moment the boat moves. They're better than nothing, but not much.

Flexifabrics was built specifically to solve this problem. Instead of stocking a fixed catalog of pre-made covers for two or three brands, we engineer a custom dieline for every fender we make — which means we can produce a precision cover for virtually any fender brand, shape, or size, not just the most popular ones.

The Most Popular Fender Brands We Cover

The two brands that dominate most marina docks are Polyform and Taylor Made, and for good reason — they build quality fenders that last for years. Our most requested covers reflect that.

Polyform F-Series and G-Series are by far our highest-volume models. The F-Series cylindrical fenders — from the compact F-1 through the large F-13 — are found on everything from center consoles to trawlers. The G-Series twin-eye style is popular on larger powerboats and sailboats that dock regularly. Our custom Polyform fender covers are engineered to the exact taper, diameter, and end-cap profile of each specific model — not approximated from a generic template.

Taylor Made's G-Series and NF-Series are the other dominant brands in our shop. Taylor Made fenders have a slightly different geometry than comparable Polyform models, with their own body curvature and eye placement. Our custom Taylor Made fender covers account for these differences at the pattern level, so the cover fits the fender — not the other way around.

Lesser-Known Fender Brands We Also Cover

This is where Flexifabrics genuinely stands apart. Beyond the well-known brands, we've engineered custom dielines for a wide range of fenders that most cover companies won't touch:

  • Mission Sentry rectangular and cylindrical dock fenders — including their flat-faced rectangular dock bumpers that require entirely different pattern geometry than a round fender. Mission Sentry fenders are popular on floating docks and marina installations, and we can produce covers for their full range of models.
  • NRS fenders — popular in the whitewater and commercial boating market. NRS uses a different construction profile than typical marine fenders, and our team handles the geometry accordingly.
  • Seaview fenders — designed primarily for sailboat use. Their elongated cylindrical profile and dual-eye configuration have specific dimensional requirements we've addressed in our dieline library.
  • Airhead inflatable fenders — the fender-of-choice for boaters who need compact storage and flexible sizing. Inflatable fenders present a unique challenge because their profile changes with pressure, and we engineer our covers with the appropriate neoprene stretch to accommodate that range.
  • Custom dock fenders and unusual shapes — rectangular flat-face fenders, corner bumpers, and other non-standard profiles used in marina, harbor, and commercial dock applications.
  • Superyacht inflatable fenders — large-format inflatable tube-style fenders used on megayachts and commercial vessels. We produce covers for these using heavy-gauge neoprene engineered to handle the scale and stress of yachts over 100 feet. See our full yacht fender covers range.

If your brand isn't on this list, that doesn't mean we can't make your cover. It means we haven't made one yet — and the answer is still almost always yes. We just need your fender's measurements to get started.

What About Odd Shapes and Custom Fenders?

Rectangular dock fenders. Corner bumpers. Custom marina fenders. Inflatable superyacht tubes. If it protects your boat or dock, there's a good chance Flexifabrics can cover it — regardless of whether it resembles a traditional fender at all.

The measurement process for unusual or non-standard fenders is straightforward: we need the fender's overall length, widest diameter or width, shape profile, and any unusual features like flat faces, ribs, or multiple mounting points. From those measurements, our team engineers a new dieline from scratch.

Not sure where to start? Use our fender size guide — and if your fender brand or model isn't listed, the "Don't See Your Fender?" form at the bottom of the guide sends your details directly to our team so we can assess the fit and get back to you within 24 hours.

How the Custom Dieline Process Works

A dieline is the precision-engineered template that determines every cut, seam, and stretch point in a fender cover. It's the difference between a cover that fits like a wetsuit and one that fits like a garbage bag.

Every new fender brand or unusual model that comes through our shop gets its own purpose-built dieline. This isn't a scaling exercise — we don't take a standard cylindrical template and stretch it to new dimensions. We start from the fender's actual geometry: its body taper, end-cap curvature, total length, inflation profile (for inflatable fenders), and seam placement relative to the hanging eye or attachment point.

The neoprene itself adds another layer of engineering. Closed-cell neoprene has a defined stretch coefficient, and the dieline accounts for that — so the cover applies a consistent, even compression around the entire fender body rather than bunching at the ends or pulling away at the center.

Once a dieline is created for a specific fender model, it lives in our library permanently. Future orders for the same fender go straight to production. That's why customers who order Mission Sentry or NRS covers come back for repeat orders — the fit is consistent every time.

How to Order a Custom Cover for Any Fender Brand

The process is the same regardless of whether your fender is the most common model on the market or something we've never covered before:

  1. 1

    Submit your fender details

Use our custom request form with your fender brand, model, size, quantity, and design concept. If your model isn't in our standard library, include your fender's measurements — or submit via the "Don't See Your Fender?" form on the size guide page.

  2. 2

We engineer your dieline and create a free AI mockup

If a dieline for your fender already exists in our library, we move straight to design. If it's a new model, our team engineers the pattern from your measurements. Either way, you receive a photorealistic AI mockup showing your design on your fender — free, with no payment required.

  3. 3

Approve your design — unlimited revisions, no payment yet

Review your mockup and request as many changes as you need. Colors, logos, layout, text — everything is adjustable before production begins. You don't pay a cent until the design is exactly what you want.

  4. 4

We handcraft your covers and ship within 2–3 weeks

Once approved and paid, production begins. Every cover is cut, sewn, and quality-checked by hand. Your order ships within 2–3 weeks of approval.
