Custom Boat Fender Covers

Precision-cut 5mm neoprene fender covers made to your exact fender brand and model. No drawstrings. No Velcro. A seamless, molded fit — and a finish worthy of the vessel it protects.

Why Custom-Fit Outperforms Universal Fender Covers

The Problem with Universal Covers

Universal boat fender covers are built to a one-size-fits-several logic — meaning they fit nothing particularly well. They rely on drawstrings and Velcro to compensate for poor fit, resulting in a baggy sleeve that bunches at the dock, traps moisture against the fender surface, and looks out of place on a premium vessel.

The failure points are the closures themselves. Drawstrings jam, Velcro attracts dock line fibers, and neither holds under the movement and pressure of real docking conditions. When the cover slips, the fender hull contact point is exposed — the exact problem you bought the cover to prevent.

The FenderSox™ Difference

Every FenderSox™ custom boat fender cover starts from a proprietary dieline — a precision flat pattern engineered for your exact fender brand and model number. A Polyform F-5 and a Taylor Made Hull Gard are different shapes entirely; our covers treat them that way.

The cover installs by deflating the fender, sliding the neoprene over it, and re-inflating. The 5mm neoprene stretches to a molded, seamless fit. There is nothing to tighten, nothing to adjust, and nothing to fail. The cover stays exactly where it belongs — every time, at every dock.

5mm Neoprene: The Material Behind the Performance

Not all neoprene fender covers are equal. Material thickness, cell structure, and UV stabilization determine whether a cover lasts one season or ten. FenderSox™ uses closed-cell 5mm neoprene — the same material trusted in professional marine applications worldwide.

UV Resistant

Closed-cell neoprene resists UV degradation at the molecular level. Colors stay vivid and the material remains supple through years of direct sun exposure — no cracking, no fading, no brittleness.

Saltwater Proof

Neoprene does not absorb water. Unlike fabric sleeves that trap salt crystals and develop mildew, FenderSox™ resist saturation and dry rapidly after spray or submersion.

Impact Absorbent

5mm of closed-cell neoprene provides meaningful cushioning at every dock contact point — protecting the hull finish, the fender, and the dock itself from impact wear.

No Drawstrings. No Velcro. No Failure Points.

The hardware on a universal cover is also its weakest point. Drawstrings jam and fray. Velcro collects dock line fibers and loses grip. Both require adjustment every time conditions change. FenderSox™ eliminates all of it. The cover holds its position through fit alone — the same principle behind a wetsuit, a compression sleeve, or any precision-fit marine product. When the cover stretches over an inflated fender, it stays. No adjustments at the dock. No checking before you leave.

Marine Durability Built for Open-Water Conditions

Boat fender covers live in one of the harshest environments on earth — constant UV exposure, salt spray, dock impact cycles, and wide temperature swings. Most fabric covers degrade within a season. FenderSox™ are engineered for the long term.

Designed for Years, Not Seasons

Closed-cell 5mm neoprene maintains its physical properties through extended UV and saltwater exposure. FenderSox™ customers routinely report 5+ years of service life.

Colorfast Through Sun and Salt

Neoprene accepts dye at the cell level, not as a surface coating. Colors resist fading even on vessels in year-round tropical and equatorial climates.

Rapid-Dry Construction

Unlike woven fabric sleeves that absorb and hold seawater, neoprene sheds water rapidly. No waterlogging, no mildew, no weight gain at the dock.

Handcrafted in Palm Beach, Florida

Every FenderSox™ cover is cut, sewn, and inspected by hand in Palm Beach, FL. Made in the USA — with the quality control that designation requires.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are custom boat fender covers?

Custom boat fender covers are precision-cut sleeves made to fit your specific fender brand and model — not a universal size. FenderSox™ are engineered from proprietary dielines for each fender's exact dimensions, then sewn in 5mm neoprene for a molded, seamless fit once installed.

How are FenderSox™ installed?

Install by deflating your fender, sliding the neoprene cover over it, and re-inflating. The cover stretches to conform to the fender's exact shape — no drawstrings to tighten, no Velcro to snag, and no hardware to fail.

Which fender brands and models do you cover?

We cover every Polyform series (F, G, A, HTM, LD, NF), every Taylor Made model (Super Gard, Hull Gard, Storm Gard, Tuff End, Big B), Big Bumper Company, Majoni, Mission Sentry, AERE, and custom inflatable yacht and superyacht fenders. Don't see your fender? Submit a custom request — we'll confirm fit or cut a new dieline at no extra cost.

Are FenderSox™ UV and saltwater resistant?

Yes. Closed-cell 5mm neoprene is inherently UV-resistant and saltwater-proof. Unlike fabric sleeves that fade, absorb salt, and breed mildew, neoprene stays supple, retains color vibrancy, and dries rapidly — built for open-water marine environments.

How long does production take?

Once you approve your digital mockup and submit payment, production is typically 2–3 weeks. Standard color covers ship faster. We confirm your lead time before any payment is required.

Do FenderSox™ come with a warranty?

Every FenderSox™ cover is backed by a 3-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. If a seam fails or the material deteriorates under normal marine use within 3 years, we replace it.
