The Problem with Universal Covers
Universal boat fender covers are built to a one-size-fits-several logic — meaning they fit nothing particularly well. They rely on drawstrings and Velcro to compensate for poor fit, resulting in a baggy sleeve that bunches at the dock, traps moisture against the fender surface, and looks out of place on a premium vessel.
